By downloading or using the SquatchPix application ("App") or visiting squatchpix.com ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use SquatchPix.
SquatchPix is a personal photo and video archive application that ingests media from third-party cloud services (Google Drive, Google Photos, OneDrive, Dropbox), deduplicates, AI-tags, and makes it searchable via a native Android app. The backend runs entirely within your own Microsoft Azure subscription.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country) to use SquatchPix. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement.
SquatchPix identifies your device by a randomly generated install ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and Azure subscription. You must not use SquatchPix to store, process, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or violates third-party rights.
SquatchPix integrates with third-party APIs (Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, Azure). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. SquatchPix is not responsible for third-party service availability, changes to APIs, or data loss caused by third-party services.
You agree not to:
SquatchPix and its original content, features, and functionality are the property of JM Squatch LLC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Your photos, videos, and other media ("Your Content") remain your property at all times. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
To operate the service, you grant JM Squatch LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, back up, copy, transmit, index, analyze, generate derivative metadata from (such as captions, tags, perceptual hashes, and — where you have enabled it — face groupings), display, and otherwise process Your Content solely to provide, maintain, and improve the service for you. This license exists only to let us run the features you use and ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except for content already contained in routine backups, which expires on our normal backup-retention schedule.
We do not sell Your Content, do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and do not use it to train generalized AI/ML models. Our handling of Your Content is further described in our Privacy Policy.
SquatchPix is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will not be lost. You use the service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SquatchPix and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the service.

You may stop using SquatchPix at any time and delete all your data via the in-app deletion feature or by contacting privacy@squatchpix.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice.
