Is the Starter plan really free forever?
Yes. No credit card required, no trial period. Starter gives you access to all core features up to 1,000 photos. Upgrade only when you need more capacity.
What counts toward my photo limit?
Each unique photo or video file ingested into your archive counts as one item. Deduplication means the same photo from multiple sources only counts once.
What happens if I exceed my storage limit?
New ingestion pauses and you'll receive an in-app prompt to upgrade. Existing photos remain accessible — nothing is deleted.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If you're not satisfied within 14 days of your first paid charge, contact support for a full refund.
Can I import my existing Google Photos / OneDrive library?
Absolutely — that's the core use case. Connect your cloud accounts in Settings and SquatchPix will discover and ingest your entire library automatically.
Where are my photos stored?
SquatchPix stores metadata, AI-generated captions, thumbnails, and face embeddings on secure Azure infrastructure. Your original files stay in the cloud accounts you already own. We never copy originals to our storage unless you use Device Backup.
